Evergreen SealGet Involved > Internships

Evergreen is willing to train like-minded personnel (foreign or national) in the "Evergreen Way" of working in China. This allows us to replicate the Evergreen model without having to start our own teams in other cities in China. Interns must already have professional expertise and linguistic proficiency in accordance with Evergreen’s requirements for career members. They must also be chosen leaders within an existing Christian sending organization. The feasibility of any internship is entirely subject to the approval of the relevant Evergreen team.

Each intern will enter into a formal contractual (seconding) relationship after suitability of both the individual and their organization have been evaluated. Both must agree to application, finances, visas, housing, etc. for the intern as per Evergreen’s career policies.
Interns must be committed to:
a.  A non-secretive Christian identity in China.
b.  Doing their professional work in Mandarin.
c.  Long-term residency in China.

Internships usually last from one to two years after which the intern should move on to establish their own work in China.
